From Cubicle to Founder: Coaching the ADHD Brain Out of Corporate America
Many ADHDers describe corporate work as a daily fight against their own wiring, and entrepreneurship as the first time work finally fit. It’s no surprise, then, that they’re drawn to entrepreneurship in disproportionate numbers—but a willingness to take the leap doesn’t guarantee a soft landing. As practitioners, our job is to support ADHDers should they choose to walk the entrepreneurial path, and that means moving beyond encouragement to a strategic framework for matching the right venture to the right brain.
In this practical, tool-forward session, you’ll learn evidence-based coaching principles for guiding clients through the transition from employment to entrepreneurship—from assessing whether a business idea actually fits how a client’s brain works, to recognizing whether they’re a singularpreneur or a serialpreneur and what that means for how they build, to designing an environment that does the heavy lifting, so success doesn’t depend on running their brain on hard mode. For each, we’ll briefly cover the science, then turn it into coaching questions and approaches you can bring straight into your own practice.

Neural Revolution
Dr. Eliza Barach is a cognitive psychologist, ADHD coach, and founder of Neural Revolution — an evidence-based ADHD coaching practice built on the principle that real, lasting change happens when coaching is grounded in how the brain actually works. At Neural Revolution, she leads a team of coaches, offers 1:1 coaching and consulting, and provides professional supervision for ADHD coaches looking to deepen their practice. Drawing on her PhD research in attention, decision-making, and cognitive psychology — and her own experience as an ADHDer who left a traditional career path to build something that finally fit — she bridges science and lived insight in everything she does. As a co-founder of ADDvance, she is deeply committed to building a stronger, better-supported ADHD coaching community. She works with coaches at all stages, both through individual supervision and her practitioner’s group, to help them bring more confidence, more science, and more impact to their client work.
